spring/summer 2026

hair

Spring/Summer 2026 hair trends focus on "softened structure," featuring airy, romantic, lived-in texture,  and low-maintenance, warm-toned colors.  Being seen everywhere are shoulder-grazing midi cuts, wispy bangs, and dimensional colors like sandy desert caramel and buttery blondes. The overall aesthetic prioritizes healthy, shiny, and personalized hair that feels effortless yet polished.

Midi Cuts: A collarbone-skimming cut, perfect for those transitioning from shorter bobs, offering both style and versatility for ponytails.

Airy Layers: Soft, wispy layers designed for movement, reducing bulk while creating a relaxed, dimensional layered look.

Modern Bobs: A cooler, slightly grungier take on the classic bob, featuring choppy, deconstructed ends for a blunt yet lived-in feel.

Wispy Bangs and deep side parts: Soft, blended fringe replaces heavier, blunt bangs, and deeper side parts replace middle parts to create a lighter, romantic vibe.

hair color

Warm and Luminous Blondes: Moving away from ice-white, 2026 embraces butter, honey, and wheat tones for a sun-kissed look.

Dimensional Brunettes: Rich, “expensive" tones like espresso and mushroom brunette, featuring subtle, low-contrast highlights for depth.

Soft coppers: A gentler, "grapefruit copper" or golden red that blends peachy warmth, making it wearable and fresh for warmer months.

nails

This season’s nail trends highlight sophisticated, polished, and effortless looks that feel modern, striking a balance between clean minimalism and vibrant color. The focus is on ‘your nails, but better’ minimalism and moody, smoky tones, with soft, fine shimmers, creamy milky whites, and jelly-like transparent shades. Cool girl gray, smokey amethyst, romantic berry shades, sage green, and warm corals complete the look. Popular shapes include almond and square, with detailed floral art, cat-eye, metallic chrome, and refined, modern French manicures.

makeup

Makeup trends are shifting toward "your skin but better" complexions with a satin finish, moving away from heavy matte or extreme dewiness. Key trends include expressive, artistic eye makeup – such as metallic, pastel, and watercolor lids – paired with soft, blurred "cloud lips", precise liners, and more natural brows.

fashion

Fashion trends emphasize structured power suits,  denim, vibrant color-blocking, and 80’s maximalism. Blending romantic styles with delicate draped dresses, linen pieces, and puffy air sleeves. Key elements include stovepipe jeans, bubble or peplum hems, leather, and intellectual "power chic" styling. Personal expression and focus are on bold accessories and tailored silhouettes. Saturated shades are everywhere, like pink, tomato red, purple, and vibrant orange, along with deep browns, navies, and black. Low-rise skirts and pants, silk scarves, wedge sneakers, red shoes, boho edge, polka dots, and checkered prints.Jellies, wedge heels, camel colors, and embellished bags.

men

Men’s hair trends emphasize natural texture, movement, and effortless styling. Haircuts are incorporating blended fades with versatile, longer top lengths. Key trends include textured crops, soft "baby" mullets, messy middle parts, and the resurgence of refined side parts, favoring matte, natural finishes over high shine.

Tousle Texture

Tousle Texture

Aveda’s Tousle Texture Dry Spray provides lightweight, lived-in texture and voluminous, "undone" styling without stickiness or powdery residue. The formula features zeolite for volume, offers heat protection, and includes a signature aroma, creating soft, touchable, and flexible hold on dry hair. Shake well and spray 10 inches from dry hair, focusing on the roots for volume or the mid-lengths and ends for texture. Use fingers to scrunch or tousle for a piecey, effortless look. Best for all hair types seeking volume, separation, and a soft, "done-but-undone" style!
