This year, “effortless elegance” and “quiet luxury” will continue infiltrating a broad spectrum of trends — including hairstyles! Healthy, glossy, effortless hair and blunt bobs are still trending. Longer, flowy layers, full volume, and Birkin bangs keep your look soft and simple. Accessories reign with bows of all shapes and sizes, wide headbands, barrettes, and jaw clips. Try a modern French twist, “wet’ slicked looks, braided upstyles, or disco curls for a night out on the town. All styles have a healthy, shiny finish. Scalp care is also the primary focus across all generations.

90s minimalism is back, and with minimalistic luxury moving into hair color trends, we see trends moving away from on-purpose root taps and melts and towards more low contrast roots, subtle brushed highlights, bronde (blended mix of blonde and brown ), less chunky “money pieces” in front, cool toned brunettes, soft ginger apricot bronde (strawberry mixed with blonde), seamless and subtle ombre patterns, cinnamon coppers, and skinny caramel dimensional hilites.

Baby blues, colorful chromes, smooth velvets, vibrant colors, creamy pastels, fine glitter finishes, modern French mani’s, longer oval shapes on the trendier side, short square on the conservative side, oyster and aura designs, cat eye polish, intricate micro embellishments, and swirls.

Lips: Retro red, ombre, and blackberry-hued lips created with dark liners.
Eyes: Brightly colored swipes of eye shadow on top and/or underneath the eyes, cyber “wet” looking rock star liquid eyeliner lines, whimsical eyebrows, and super bold lashes.
Cheeks: High-wattage colored liquid blush on the cheeks, creating a dewy glow.
Face: Face finishes (frosty skin finishes) “better than bare” cloudlike skin, clean esthetic in skin.

Muted colors — Beige, pearl, chocolate brown, moss green, dusty plum, peach fuzz. Pop of bold — electric blue, bright orange, highlighter yellow. Gloss, plush, micro fringe, sheer fabrics, metallic. Products that are niche and exclusive, with no “one size fits all” claims, and “stealth wealth” fashion have revisited' 90s-style minimalism! Floral prints, billowy sleeves. Rich burgundy replaced bright reds & everything in fashion is sky blue! High fashion fringe finishes, preppy athletic, statement belts, embellished shoes, ballet flats, slip-on sneakers, mules, satin midi skirts, disco silver and gold metallic pieces, slingback pumps, kitten heels, square-toed Mary Janes, long denim skirts, cropped cardigans, puffy purses, bucket bags, sheer tops, oversized coats, pastels for Spring, wide-legged, and flare bottoms.

fashion: There has been a return to more traditional masculinity, with more slender and tailored looks (less slouchy). Neckties have returned, as have mesh fabric tops, silk resort shirts, straight-legged relaxed-fit jeans, bomber jackets, slip-on boots, chore jackets, unstructured suit jackets, knit polos, and solid button-downs.
hair: Professional mullets & rock star textured looks look youthful, buzz cuts (take it to another level and bleach it out!), 90’s boy band looks, tons of texture, cropped shags.
